Tim Shears is the CEO and founder of Kings Sports Bristol. He has been a PE teacher in the Bristol & South Gloucestershire area for over 30 years. He has been Head of PE at Kings Oak Academy over 20 years and started his career teaching at Brislington school (now BEC/Oasis) and Patchway High school. He ran the Sports degree program for University of South Wales at the Memorial Stadium for Bristol Rovers. He has experience running sports camps for 5 years at Clifton College and Badminton School a number of years ago with over 200 children and 30 staff.

 

 

He has held a number of Sporting positions of responsibility in the Bristol area :

 

- Head of PE & outdoor pursuits Kingsfield school / Kings Oak Academy.

- Sports degree mentor - University of South Wales / Bristol Rovers

- Chairman of Bristol & S.Gloucestershire schools football

- Chairman of Gloucestershire schools FA, for over 10 years

running all local schools football in Bristol for over 20 years.

- Chairman of Bristol churches FA for over 20 years.

- FA inspector for local professional centres of excellence

- centre of excellence coach at Bristol Rovers (with Ian Holloway)

- National champions / Finalists -  5 times (with Avon & Glos County, and Bristol Schools teams)
